I’ll make the guess that this NA got hit in the left-front and it broke the pinch-welded area of metal that the fender attaches to.

wut? bro. hahha know you are kidding but I did wonder if it would add weight I just weld not thinking about how much weld wire it uses but an entire spool of wire which lasts me a while weighs two pounds.

it seems to have made a dramatic difference. I wish someone with expensive tools would do a test and see if it does increase rigidity.
